You can pretend I’m not here all you want, but I am…. A lot of good that did but in the end, all is forgiven because your number one goal is to find out how two people who were never meant to be together, made a love story that could potentially burn down their own town. Going into the story, your breath is immediately held hostage because you know for a fact that this is not going to end well but you still have hope. I’m not ashamed to admit that seeing the cover for this one took away half of my brain cells but with sheer determination, I managed to not only get enraptured with the story itself, but fall for in love with some of the best characters written to date. I’ve been anticipating this story for a very long time and as usual, Meghan March did not disappoint. I’m not even going to lie right now, I fucking inhaled this book shamelessly!! I told myself that this story was worth savoring and enjoying like a fine glass of wine but when you have a prologue like that? Going slow, takes a back seat.
